A Turkish prosecutor has demanded over 2,000 years of prison term for Istanbul's jailed mayor, Ekrem Imamoglu, over corruption charges. Imamoglu, who is President Tayyip Erdogan's political rival, has been accused of leading a corruption network that caused around $3.8 billion in losses to the government over 10 years. However, Imamoglu previously denied all allegations.
