On Saturday, November 1, the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) suspended 149 referees and assistant referees in a betting probe for eight to 12 months depending on circumstances. It is understood that as part of the investigation, the TFF found that hundreds of professional match officials in Turkiye had betting accounts with one of them placing a whopping 18,227 bets.
