Two passengers arriving from Bangkok were arrested at Pune Airport after customs officials found 20 exotic animals in their luggage. The haul included 14 green tree pythons, four double-eyed fig parrots and two Sumatran striped rabbits. Wildlife NGO RESQ Charitable Trust provided medical care. The animals, brought without valid documents, will be deported to Bangkok soon.
