The UAE has decided to temporarily halt tourist and work visas for people of nine countries, according to reports. The countries that are reportedly facing the suspension include Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Libya, Yemen, Somalia, Cameroon, Sudan, Lebanon and Uganda. The restriction, coming into effect from 2026, will remain in place until further notice, reports said.
