Ex-India Under-19 captain Uday Saharan scored his maiden first-class century on day one of the third round of Ranji Trophy 2025-26. Elevated as Punjab captain in just his third match, Saharan made 100* off 247 balls against Goa to take Punjab from 92-5 to 215-5 at stumps. Saharan led India to a runners-up finish in the 2024 U19 World Cup.
