Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde hinted at Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and son Aaditya Thackeray and said that while in power, they accepted the Dr Raghunath Mashelkar Committee's recommendation to make Hindi compulsory. He called their politics double-faced, saying they have a different stance when not in power. The Mahayuti government has not made Hindi compulsory, he added.
