A 40-year-old man from Udupi district has tested positive for Monkeypox (Mpox), the health department confirmed on Thursday. The National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, verified the case on January 22. The patient, who has been living in Dubai for the past 19 years, returned to Mangaluru on January 17.
