Britain, France and Germany launched a 30-day process to reimpose UNSC sanctions under snapback mechanism on Iran over its nuclear programme. They only had until October, 10 years after they lifted the sanctions under the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, as a window where it'd be possible to automatically reinstate the penalties. "We'll not concede under pressure," said an Iranian official.
