British couple Peter and Barbie Reynolds, detained by Taliban in Afghanistan for nearly 8 months on undisclosed charges, have been released after mediation by Qatar, BBC reported. The elderly couple, who ran an educational organisation in Bamiyan, were arrested in February. Their health reportedly deteriorated during detention. They've now left Afghanistan and are expected to reunite with family.
