The UK government is expanding its 'deport first, appeal later' policy to deport people from 23 countries, including India. The scheme, first introduced in 2014 and revived in 2023, allows deportation before an appeal is heard, unless the offender can prove they'd face harm in their home country. Other countries now included in the list are Australia, Indonesia and Malaysia.
