The UK government has updated its official maps in which West Bank and Gaza now appear as 'Palestine' instead of appearing as 'Occupied Palestinian Territories'. This move comes a day after UK officially recognised the state of Palestine. UK PM Keir Starmer had said his country is recognising Palestinian state "to revive the hope of peace and a two-state solution".
