The UK lifted the 33-year arms embargo on Armenia and Azerbaijan on Monday. "This decision will enable the UK’s security and defence partnerships with both Armenia and Azerbaijan...and will allow the UK to support efforts to safeguard their sovereignty and territorial integrity," a UK Minister said. This comes after Armenia and Azerbaijan signed a peace agreement in August.
