The UK's most powerful publicly accessible AI supercomputer, Isambard-AI, has gone live in Bristol. The ₹2,600-crore machine can process in one second what it would take the entire global population 80 years to achieve. The Isambard-AI weighs about 150 tonnes, the same as 25 African elephants. It runs 100,000 times faster than a typical laptop.
