US President Donald Trump said he believes Ukraine can retake all of its territory from Russia, reversing his previous stance wherein he said Kyiv would've to make territorial concessions to end war. He also called Russia "paper tiger". Trump met Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Alaska last month to discuss the war but later criticised him for continuously attacking Ukraine.
