Ukraine has proposed a $100-billion defence package for US weapons, to be funded by Europe, to secure long-term American security guarantees once a peace accord with Russia is reached, reports claimed. Separately, Ukraine also proposed $50-billion deal with US companies for joint drone production. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently met US President Donald Trump at the White House.
