Ukraine will need at least $120 billion (around ₹10 lakh crore) for its defence in 2026, Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal said. He added that the funding is crucial to maintain frontline defences, expand weapons production, enhance air defence and block further Russian aggression as war enters its fourth year. Ukraine now spends over 31% of its GDP on the army.
