Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday announced that Ukraine is aligning with the European Union's sanctions package targeting Iran. Zelenskyy also described Iranian regime as one of "the most brutal regimes in the world." "No surprise that [Russian President Vladimir] Putin found common ground with it," he added. Putin had criticised US' strikes on Iran's nuclear sites.
