A Ukrainian man was arrested in Italy on suspicion of coordinating attacks on three Nord Stream gas pipelines on September 26, 2022. The explosion ruptured the pipelines which run under the Baltic Sea and transported Russian gas to Europe. The arrest comes as Kyiv is engaged in diplomatic discussions with the US over how to end Russia-Ukraine war.
