The ULLAS (Understanding Lifelong Learning for All in Society) scheme, launched in 2022, aims to educate adults above 15 years through a hybrid, volunteer-led model. With 29.7 million learners and 4.5 million volunteers, it has enabled full literacy in Mizoram, Goa, Tripura, and Himachal. The scheme offers content in 26 Indian languages via digital and offline platforms.
