Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has reacted after Sanjay Gaikwad, an MLA of Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, assaulted and punched a canteen staff after he was allegedly served stale dal. Condemning the incident, Fadnavis said, "Such behaviour is unacceptable. It doesn't send the right message." He also emphasised that Gaikwad's actions as an MLA have "tarnished the reputation of all legislators".
