Reacting to the Maharashtra government's decision to include Hindi in the three-language policy, Kokan Marathi Sahitya Parishad on Tuesday opposed the move and urged the government to reconsider it. "Considering the mental, physical, and intellectual capacities of students from Classes 1 to 4, it seems unfair to insist on Hindi as a third language from Class 1," the body said.
