Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday visited flood-hit areas in Punjab. He said he was sent by PM Narendra Modi along with two teams to assess the situation and submit a detailed report on the damage. Chouhan added that about 1,400 villages have been affected by floods, and he will personally visit these villages and meet people there.
