TMC leaders wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, alleging that Murshidabad MP Abu Taher Khan was "violently" pushed by Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu during the introduction of bills to remove jailed ministers. The leaders added that Taher was recovering from serious illness. The MPs also said they were exercising their right to protest while bills were being introduced.
