Union Minister Suresh Gopi suggested that the proposed Uniform Civil Code (UCC) could pave the way for a structured national framework for temple administration, including Sabarimala. Speaking at an outreach event in Kerala, he also proposed a Hindu Religious Consortium for temple oversight and highlighted plans to bring an AIIMS campus to the state.
