Union Minister of State (MoS) Suresh Gopi offered to step down from his post. "I never wanted to be a minister by quitting my film career," the actor-turned-politician, who joined the BJP in 2016, said. He added that his income has significantly decreased in recent times. Gopi recommended BJP's newly elected Rajya Sabha member C Sadanandan Master as his replacement.
