Union Ministers Manohar Lal and Bhupender Yadav launched the 'Matri Van' initiative in Gurugram under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' programme. Spanning 750 acres in Aravalli Hills, it aims to create a theme-based urban forest promoting biodiversity, public health, and sustainability. The project involves community participation and features nature trails, native plantations and green infrastructure.
