A four-year-old unvaccinated boy recovered from severe pneumococcal meningoencephalitis with sepsis at KIMS Hospitals, Thane, Maharashtra. He arrived in septic shock with seizures and required ventilation, antibiotics, and intensive PICU care. Gradual improvement led to discharge with mild weakness. Doctors stressed timely treatment, teamwork, and the vital role of routine childhood vaccination.
