A court in Uttar Pradesh's Gonda ordered an FIR to be filed against Union MoS for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh, his representative Rajesh Singh, and three others. The complainant alleged that Rajesh harassed him and his wife after he registered a case against them for fraudulently transferring his wife's land by executing a backdated contract with the original seller.
