The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved an increase of 950 MBBS and 271 PG medical seats for the 2025-26 session. Of these, 200 MBBS seats are in government colleges and 750 in private institutes. The state now has 12,800 MBBS and 4,297 PG seats, boosting medical education and healthcare capacity.
