The Uttar Pradesh government under CM Yogi Adityanath has increased financial aid under the Kanya Vivah Sahayata Yojana. Now, registered construction workers will get ₹65,000 for normal marriages, ₹75,000 for inter-caste, and ₹85,000 for mass marriages, plus ₹15,000 for event arrangements. The move aims to ensure no worker’s daughter faces financial distress while starting her new life.
