A post is going viral claiming that the UP government issued a new order banning students from going to malls and parks in their school uniforms during school hours. However, the ban is already in place since 2022. The UP State Commission for Protection of Child Rights issued a letter in 2022 asking all district magistrates to enforce the ban.
