In a chilling case from UP's Hathras, a 60-year-old woman, Joshina, was strangled by Imran, who allegedly claimed he killed her "to get rid of her" after she pressured him to marry her. Police traced him using over 1,000 CCTV cameras across five districts. Imran confessed to luring her before murdering her and staging the scene. He was arrested.
