Two contract workers at Cochin Shipyard’s Malpe unit in Karnataka have been arrested for allegedly leaking confidential shipbuilding and naval equipment information to Pakistan. The men, identified as Rohit and Santri from Uttar Pradesh, had reportedly been sharing classified material for financial gain for more than one year, including during an earlier stint in Kerala.
