Uttar Pradesh has been put on high alert after at least eight people were killed in an explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday. UP ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash said instructions have been issued to increase security at sensitive religious sites, sensitive districts, and border areas. The explosion occurred near gate number 1 of Lal Quila Metro Station.
