14 financially empowered women from Uttar Pradesh, dubbed Lakhpati Didis, will be guests at the Independence Day flag hoisting at Red Fort. Chosen for their success through Self-Help Groups under the UP Rural Livelihood Mission, they represent the largest group among 700 invitees. Their stories highlight the transformation of rural women into entrepreneurs.
