A stray dog in Kanpur’s Basant Vihar was seen carrying a newborn’s mutilated torso in Friends Park on Thursday morning. Locals chased the dog, uncovering the body with missing head and arms. Police suspect the infant was born in a hospital within the last 36 hours and abandoned. CCTV footage and hospital records are being reviewed to trace responsible individuals.
