Over 2.19 lakh police personnel have been recruited in over eight years, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said. Police training capacity has increased tenfold to combat crime in the state, and the commissionerate system now operates in seven districts. With 13 lakh CCTV cameras installed, urban safety and real-time crime detection have improved significantly.
