Starting July 15, 2025, users who mistakenly send money to the wrong UPI ID or face failed transactions will get quicker refunds under NPCI's new rules. Banks can now approve chargebacks without waiting for NPCI's nod. This will speed up dispute resolution and help millions of UPI users avoid delays in getting their money back.
