US-based Anthropic is looking to establish its foothold in India amid intensifying competition from OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and Meta. It's looking for a country lead for India, along with other markets like Australia and Singapore, CCO Paul Smith told CNBC. This comes a month after OpenAI also announced its India entry and as Anthropic plans to triple its international workforce.
