American multinational tech firm Cognizant will be getting land from Andhra Pradesh government for 99 paise to build an IT campus in Visakhapatnam at a cost of ₹1,582 crore, Moneycontrol reported. Cognizant sought 21.31 acres of land, setting March 2029 as the target for commencement of commercial operations. The campus is expected to create 8,000 jobs over an eight-year period.
