US-based video-sharing app Cameo, valued over $1 billion in 2021, is struggling to pay a fine of $600,000, as per settlement documents signed between 30 US states and Cameo. Considering Cameo's financial status, the states agreed to reduce the fine, imposed as the app failed to comply with celebrity endorsement regulations, to $100,000. Cameo will implement features for future compliance.
