A federal appeals court on Friday blocked US President Donald Trump’s plans to end protections for six lakh people from Venezuela who have permission to live and work in the US. Former US President Joe Biden’s administration had extended temporary protected status (TPS) for people from Venezuela. The protections for 3.5 lakh Venezuelans expired in April.
