US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth criticised US media for reporting leaked preliminary intelligence which downplayed US' strikes on Iran. "Classified information is leaked for political purposes to try to make the president look bad," he said. The intelligence report had said that strikes didn't damage core components of Tehran's nuclear programme but only set it back by few months.
