A State Bank of India (SBI) report revealed that while US trade tariffs cut its overall deficit by USD 42 billion, the gap with its top five trading partners, including India, widened by USD 9 billion. The US reduced deficits with China and Switzerland but saw sharp increases with Vietnam, Mexico, Taiwan, and India.
