Joint delegation from US Department of War and Boeing executives is expected to visit India between September 16 and 19 to negotiate the sale of six additional P-8I maritime patrol aircraft, estimated at $4 billion, to the Indian Navy. While the deal was approved in 2019, talks later stalled. India inducted 12 of these aircraft over the past 15 years.
