US Treasury Department has eased some sanctions on Russia ahead of President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin's meet scheduled for August 15 in Alaska. The decision, pertaining to US sanctions on Russia over Ukraine war, allows transactions related to the upcoming inter-governmental meeting. It does not, however, affect any Russian property blocked by US.
