US Energy Secretary Chris Wright hinted that US may want India to buy its oil instead of Russian oil. Speaking to reporters, he said, "We don't want to punish India...We wish India would work with us to buy [oil]...America has oil to sell." He went on to admit that India buys Russian oil as it's cheaper.
