The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recalled batches of frozen spinach due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. Listeria is a harmful bacterium that can cause severe foodborne illness, especially in pregnant women, newborns, older adults, and people with weakened immune systems.
