Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) shares rose nearly 38% on Monday after OpenAI announced plans to buy a 10% stake in the chipmaker as part of a multibillion-dollar AI hardware partnership. The shares hit a high of $226.709, up from Friday's close of $164.67, as they gained 1/3rd of their value in one minute. AMD's valuation also rose to $339 billion.
