The US President Donald Trump-led administration has stopped the pending green card approvals for around 2,00,000 refugees who arrived in the US between January 20, 2021 and February 20, 2025. It also directed a compulsory re-interview for all refugees who entered the US during that timeframe. A review of spouses and children of the refugees may also be conducted.
